COMPANY’ S BACKGROUND
The management of I.U.Rehman Textile Mills ( Pvt) Ltd. stepped in, accepting challenging task of revival of the project. A major BMR has been carried out and additional machinery was installed to make the project economically viable, production capacity was expanded. The formidable task was accomplished and with blessings of Allah, trial running completed in March 2006. Huge amount of investment was made, by setting up complete stitching unit, keeping in view long- term objectives. All the required finance was arranged by Mr. Ishfaq Ur Rehman through his sources.
PRODUATION AND MARKETING
RAW MATERIALS
The Basic Raw Material of the project is spun yarn in the cotton, Polyester, Lycra and CVC. This is widely available in the local Market especially in the area of the project.
PROCESS
Warping and Sizing
The mill has its own Warping and Sizing department with the experienced staff and machine operators. This process makes the raw thread ready for weaving process. In this process the yarn of different qualities warped and sized in chemicals according to the weaving requirements.
Weaving
The sized beam transferred to weaving department and attached with weaving machines for weaving of cloth. On these machines there is a strict method of quality check and production control with the help of highly experienced technical staff. The production is monitored on shift vise and on daily basis.
Inspection, Folding and Packing
The finished cloth is inspected very carefully on the inspection frames and graded into A Grade Fabric, B Grade Fabric, C Grade Fabric and Cut Pieces according to the international standards. After grading A Grade Fabric is packed in Bales or Rolls as required while B, C and CP grade packed in bales for local market.
Stitching
The management of I.U.Rehman Textile Mills ( pvt) Ltd has planned establish a stitching unit, initially for stitching of Bed Sheets. For this purpose gray cloth weaved in the mill will send to a dyeing house. After dyeing and printing from out sources the fabric will brought back to stitching department for making Bed Sheets and Pillow Cases which will onward Exported to International Market especially in the Middle & Far East Region.
MARKETING
Mr. Ishfaq Ur Rehman is well in touch with the local buying houses of gray fabrics. He looks after the marketing of gray cloth in local market as well as in the international markets. Measures have been taken to start the export of Made up. For this purpose a complete stitching unit is installed. Buyers in the Middle East and Far East are being contacted and welcomed to visit the unit for business purposes.
